Abstract
This paper essentially deals with transportation issues in Peninsular Malaysia. This is because Peninsular Malaysia is the focal point of transportation networks. It is where
90% of Malaysia’s manufacturing and nearly all the major ports are located. East
Malaysia offers a different analytical challenge because of its vast spaces and
demographics, and this paper does not pretend to address East Malaysian issues.
