Abstract
The need to address the issue of climate change has become a matter of priority, and players in the maritime sector must stand up and be counted to play their part to reduce carbon emissions. This point rang loud and clear throughout MIMA'S Seminar on Greening the Maritime Sector: Towards a Clean and
Green Industry organised by the Centre for Maritime Economics and Industries (MEI) at MIMA Conference Room on 26 May 2010. The purpose of the seminar is to provide a platform for the stakeholders in the maritime sector to share insights, disseminate information, establish networking and engage in discussion on this very important subject.
